STEP = Uvarmalai Vivekananda's great natural social work through the organization.

Based on the scientific concept that seed balls are easier and more effective than planting trees. Students of the Biosystems Technology Department of Uvarmalai Vivekananda College participated in the selfless work of throwing seed balls in the forest areas of Andankulam, Velveri, and Vilankulam during the rainy season. Approximately 1500 seed balls including neem, navel, tamarind, and punga were prepared and thrown by our students. This work is being carried out following hygiene rules. Our deepest gratitude goes to SEUSL lecturer Dr. Riyaz Ahamed for providing the introduction and encouragement regarding seed balls.
